Welcome to day six of the month long Jaftex blog hop! Never heard of Jaftex? It's the parent company of some of my favorite fabrics: Sudioe, Blank Quilting and Henry Glass fabrics.
Jaftex is celebrating it's 85th anniversary in style, with an amazing blog hop and giveaways each step of the way, as well as some really awesome grand prizes. (See below on how to win!)
30 bloggers were given a bundle of fabric with the directions: make something. Easy enough!
This is the bundle I received from the Fusion Illusion line from Blank Quilting.
As soon as I saw the bundle I started thinking of a rainbow quilt. And since I'm on a bit of a wedge kick right now, I decided to combine the two.
Here's my quilt Roy. (Named after my dad, and a nod to Roy G Biv!)

A little grainy. My photographer neglected to take any close ups. |

Here's a better photo. Ignore the water pump in the foreground. |

Here's a close up of the quilting. My guild-mates from the Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild will be shocked that I chose variegated thread! Quilted by Maria O'Haver. |
This quilt came together really quickly! I really love the results. I'm thinking of writing it up as a pattern. If you're interested, be sure to sign up for my newsletter on the side bar. You'll be the first to know when it's ready.
So, on to the giveaway! Would you like to win a bundle of Fusion Illusion?
Just leave me a comment below. What would you make with this awesome bundle? For an extra chance, follow me on Instagram or Facebook, then come back here and let me know that you do. (Sorry, US only please. However, if you're the winner and international, I'll send you a download of my Subway Art and a pattern. Deal?)

I just paper pieced a small butterfly last weekend. My first time trying paper piecing. I would love to have a large butterfly in all the rainbow colors.
I think I would wait for your pattern and try to make yours! It's beautiful! I'm just starting what I suspect is a rainbow kick, so the timing would be perfect.
Love the play of colors in your quilt. I would use the fabric in a new tote bag and small zippered cases. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love your new design. Very cool! I might make a gradient nine patch of some sort.

You made a wonderful quilt.
Thanks for the chance to win some amazing fabrics. I love brights and, for now, they would go in my stash.
Your photos are beautifully set. I love the water pump, the moss-covered roof, and the peeling paint. The quilt is wonderful to see and because of your lovely setting the feeling of the quilt evokes an emotion. Thanks.
I think I would make a quilt for grand-kids to use while visiting us.
I just read about a quilt that the rectangles are laid together and then cut in a back and forth curves. Then stitched together in different colors. This fabric would be wonderful for that pattern.
I would love to make a quilt just like the one you did. It is beautiful.
This is a great blog hop with plenty of eye candy, new blogs to visit and so much inspiration. I love your very colorful quilt. All of those bright colors speak directly to me.

What a great quilt. The wedges arranged in the rainbow give it such a sense of movement. Well done!
Oh I could make so many different things with a bundle like that. The colors are great and they have such visual texture.
Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win!
I would create a color wheel/spectrum quilt with these fabrics.
Gorgeous fabrics. They would most likely find their way into some applique projects.
With that wonderful fabric, I can see some geese flying home.
Thanks for the great hop and giveaways.
Good luck everyone.
