Sew Mama Sew! Giveaway Day

Many will enter, some will win....

Actually, with so much fun stuff being given away, many will win. I hope you win a bunch. Me, I'd be happy with one. (my friend Marissa wins like 4 or 5 things during each giveaway. My friend Laura, at least one or two. Me, nadda. Maybe this is my time!)

But, enough about me. What about you?

In honor of giveaway day, I'm giving 5 lucky people my custom Subway Art. You'll receive a hi res digital image of a 16" x 20" subway poster, in your choice of color. What you do with it is up to you. You can have it printed at a place like Costco or Shutterfly, or, my favorite,  you can have it made into a canvas and hang it in your studio! (Groupon and Living Social have deals on these all.the.time.)

So, what do you need to do to win? Leave me a comment, telling me why you read blogs. Is it for the witty banter, the eye candy, tutorials? I want to know. And/or you can tell me, now that I got you here, how I can keep you here! I'll choose 5 random winners on Saturday morning, May 26th.  For an extra chance, feel free to become a follower. Leave me a separate comment telling me ~ welcome!

Oh, if sadly you're not a winner, these posters are available in my Etsy shop. Just saying.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Good luck this week. I hope you win a ton of stuff!!

I read blogs because it gets me out of the house. =) Thanks for a chance to win...and you linked the wrong post to your Sew, Mama, Sew! entry. In case you wanted to know. =)

memmens said...

Oh why do I read blogs? To distract me from all the others things I should be doing? Mostly to share the obsession, passion of sewing! thanks for an awesome giveaway

memmens said...

I'm a follower too and giving away on my blog if you have the time!

Margaret said...

I started reading them because I saw a couple of tutorials on how to make a certain quilt block. Since then I have continued to read them because I love to read about and meet new people. I have met some really nice people in some of the swaps I have joined. It has now become almost an obsession. I get so many ideas and learn so much. Last week I learned how to do shirring. Never thought I would be able to do that.

LethargicLass said...

hmmm... I normally start reading blogs because of tutorials, then I poke around a bit for inspiration, and once in awhile I get sucked right in and spend days reading the blog from the beginning and it's those ones that I know I won't ever stop reading :)

I think the eye candy and tutorials are the best. Sometimes that will inspire a new idea or get me in gear on something I am working on.

Leslie said...

Ok, I'm a blog-a-holic. When I read a blog I feel like I' making a friend. Luckily I'm a fast reader! What do I love about blogs? In my world, my craftiness is considered quirky and a bit weird. Bloggers are my kindred spirits. BTW, the Subway sign is awesome.

Kimberly said...

I love reading blogs. It's my favorite time of the day. I make a cup of coffee and sit down with my husband's iPad. I love the pretty pictures, the tutorials and all the inspiration out there!
Great art. Thanks for the giveaway!

Valerie said...

Those are wicked cool posters!

I read blogs for the community aspect. None of my friends or family are crafty, and I can talk to them about fabric or patterns or designers without their eyes rolling back in their heads. Here, on the internet, I'm surrounded by a community of people who share my passion. It's wonderful!

Jennie @ Porch Swing Quilts said...

It's about two things: eye candy and companionship. None of my family and local friends are into sewing stuff, so this is my way to connect with those who get my madness for fabric and quilting.

♥Duff said...

I guess it's a little bit of everything--I love the pictures which lead to tutorials! I've met so many quilters and felt so encouraged and supported by people I've never met--sort of renews your faith in human beings, doesn't it? :O) Awesome giveaway!

Oh, I am like you , I enter everything and win nothing!! LOL! Hopefully we will change each other's luck today! I read blogs for several reasons, it does need to be well written or I am not going to continue coming back, I love clear tutorials that I can really follow and some eye candy doesn't hurt. The one thing that will turn me away faster than anything else is comment moderation!! I want to leave you a message, but I HATE trying to decipher those stupid letters and numbers. You can control what gets posted, so PLEASE turn off comment moderation people!!

Thanks for letting me rant there. I am off my soapbox now. . .LOL!
