Thank you for the Tute over at Sew We Quilt. Makes me think there is hope for finishing MY dresden quilt, or at least repurposing a block or two. LOL I am a follower of you, and when you see Madame Samm Please let her knw I really am a follower of Sew We Quilt, too. I always turn invisable to her.

Hi, Heather. Thanks for the tut on your journal covers; I can't wait to try one. I know my granddaughter would love one for Christmas. The ONE Dresden plate is a great way to start me, a WANABE, out. I do love Dresden plates, too, but a quilt with many seemed a bit too much for a beginner. I agree that Madame Samm is "over the top" marvelous!!

Enjoyed the tutorial a lot. Was glad to get the tip for the hair ties, had problems using them a few months ago when using them for a clutch closure. Will enjoy making the journals, maybe for stocking stuffers, great idea!
